There are also herbal sleep aid remedies that you can take like wild lettuce, passion flower extract, hops, chamomile capsules, teas or tincture to reduce stress, and relieve headaches. Putting lavender or hops in your pills can also help you fall asleep.
You can remedy your sleep problems by taking supplements. Melatonin helps control your sleep cycle. The herb valerian is not addictive and acts like valium. Green tea can help you sleep deeper because it contains L-theanine which is an amino acid; you can also take 5-HTP which is like melatonin but also helps with depression and anxiety.
Sleep disorders can also be remedies with certain types of food. Choose foods that contain tryptophan like cheese, nuts, beans, milk, carbohydrate-rich foods etc., which can help induce sleep. Joint and muscle pain, depression and learning difficulties can be experienced if you take tryptophan as a supplement.
